World Choral Championship


The World Choral Championship (WCC) will be held, in 2019, in Tokyo.

Dai-Ichi Seimei Hall, Tokyo, outside Dai-Ichi Seimei Hall, Tokyo, inside WCC staff in Tokyo

The World Choral Championship is an annual choral competition between the winners of four worldwide choral competitions of exceptional artistic quality and it was created in 2017. The artistic direction of the WCC consists of renowned musicians and festival organizers Ko Matsushita, Andrea Angelini, Johnny Ku and Maciej Przerwa.

Participating choirs will receive free accommodation and will have the possibility to win 5,000 Euros!

 

The World Choral Championship is open to the choirs that are the winners of the Grand Prix, of the previous year, of the 4 circuit festivals:

The World Choral Championship will be held in:

Tokyo (Japan) on 25th July 2019
Rimini (Italy) on 16th September 2020
Krakow (Poland) on 12th-13th June 2021
Taipei (Taiwan) on 1st-2nd August 2022
 
Calendar of the Championships will be updated annually.
